Chandler's Plumbing & Heating

The guys did a good job on the repair but I did feel like they took a bit of advantage of the way Chandler’s charges by the half hour. The didn’t start working for the first twenty minutes as they slowly went back and forth to their van getting the snake but then forgetting the gloves, then the bucket, etc. In all, they spent 80 minutes to snake a drain and install a disposal, which felt a little long for the job and made it quite pricy. I also was surprised they had a $40 charge for them to use their own snake tool. Like I was paying them to rent their own tool. So just know that it will probably end up costing more than a plumber who quotes you for a job instead of by the half hour plus the cost of renting their own tools. But the clog appears to be fixed and the new disposal is installed so I’m happy to have my kitchen back in working order again.

Chandler's work was exceptional. We tried Michael and Son's and they did not know where the exact problem was and were going to tear up the whole floor to find the problem. We contacted Chandler's and they came promptly, specifically Daniel Mcsorley. He not only found the problem quickly but made a temporary solution that held us over to the next day before they could finish the work. Daniel explained the problem and guided us through everything he was doing and what we needed to do going forward. He was honest and very clear with our needs and answered all of our questions perfectly. I would go through Chandler's for any needs we might have going forward and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jose just came to my house this morning and did an excellent and efficient job reattaching the electric box to the siding. He was professional, quick, and very kind. He also took time to explain to me the issue and answered all my question. He represented Chandler's well. Thank you!! The electric meter was left unattached from the siding 12 years ago by the contractor who changed the siding. I had called around to other electricians and either they would quote me an exorbitant amount or decline the work, but Jose did a great job!

A large local custom home builder recommended them to me recently. That’s always a good sign that a respectable home builder is recommending a plumber. Several weeks later our shower cartridge failed and we couldn’t turn off the shower. We had to shut off the main water to the house. I decided to call them instead of our usual service. They came immediately and turned off the water at the shower so we could turn the main back on and have water in the rest of the house. They ordered the cartridge and returned to install it with no hassles and a fair price. Staff was great. Personable and really fast (which saves money when paying by the half hour).

I am very pleased and impressed with the workmanship and customer service of the Chandler’s team. They addressed a complicated tankless water heater installation with utmost professionalism and customer care. Yesterday we experienced an outage in our upper HVAC system. Chandler arranged for an HVAC specialist to swing by after completing another stop. We learned that a loose electrical connection resulted in a burned-out power connection. We also learned we didn't have fuses in our Heat Pump installation. Chandler was completely done within the hour. They installed a new disconnect box with fuses. Great job!

I needed to replace my 50gl natural gas water heater from 2005. I’ve got 4 different quotes (including one from Home Depot) and Chandler’s came out cheaper, for what I think is a superior water heater. They provided an estimate over e-mail, did a quick drop in to confirm the quote, and finished the job quickly. Everyone that I engaged with at Chandler’s was responsive, knowledgeable, and polite. I’ll most likely be sticking with them for my other plumbing needs from now on!

An 80% furnace is vented through a chimney and per code (for the past 20 odd years) a liner is required. Chandler's installed it and (I assuming) found some corrupt Arlington inspector to pass the permit. We bought our house with a new furnace, we are having to replace the furnace completely and get a 92% with a direct vent to circumvent the chimney completely (as it's not a guarantee that the liner will fix the solution bc the furnace is already possibly ruined internally with debris from back-flow.) Hard to point fingers if it was negligence of Chandler's, cheap previous owners, or a corrupt inspector - but someone didn't do their job!!
